The Science & Justice Research Center is located on the second floor of the Oakes College Administrative Building, in the hallway to the left as you come up the stairs. Below are directions to and from some common destinations.
Directions to UCSC from the South Bay Area
From I-680 South. Take I-880 South to Highway 17 South to Santa Cruz. Take Highway 1 North (toward half Moon Bay). On Highway 1 (Mission St.), travel approximately one mile north and turn Right onto Bay St. (becomes Bay Dr.) and proceed up the hill to the main campus entrance. Parking Kiosk is to the right (just past High St.).
Directions to UCSC from San Francisco Airport (SFO)
From Airport Access Rd. Take US-101 South to CA Highway 17 South to Santa Cruz. Take Highway 1 North (toward half Moon Bay). On Highway 1 (Mission St.), travel approximately one mile north and turn Right onto Bay St. (becomes Bay Dr.) and proceed up the hill to the main campus entrance. Parking Kiosk is to the right (just past High St.).
Directions to UCSC from Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC)

From CA Highway 1 North stay in the middle lane toward Santa Cruz/Half Moon Bay. Stay to the right to continue on Highway 1 North (Mission St.), travel approximately one mile north and turn Right onto Bay St. (becomes Bay Dr.) and proceed up the hill to the main campus entrance. Parking Kiosk is to the right (just past High St.).

To Engineering 2, room 180 from Parking Kiosk:
Turn right onto Glenn Coolidge Dr. (was Bay Dr.), turn left onto Hagar Dr, left onto McLaughlin Dr., left onto Heller Dr. immediate left into the Core West Parking Structure. Jack Basking School of Engineering will be across the street on McLaughlin, walk through building, room 180 is on the ground floor accessible from the courtyard.
To Engineering 2, room 537b from Parking Kiosk:
Turn right onto Glenn Coolidge Dr. (was Bay Dr.), turn left onto Hagar Dr, left onto McLaughlin Dr., left onto Heller Dr. immediate left into the Core West Parking Structure. Jack Baskin School of Engineering will be across the street on McLaughlin, walk through to building 2, room 537b is on the 5th floor. Across the entry and to the left of the elevators is a glass door; take the hallway to the left and 537b will be on the right.
To Engineering 2, room 599 from Parking Kiosk:
Turn right onto Glenn Coolidge Dr. (was Bay Dr.), turn left onto Hagar Dr, left onto McLaughlin Dr., left onto Heller Dr. immediate left into the Core West Parking Structure. Turn right at the 3rd stop sign onto Rachel Carson College Rd. Parking is limited in front of Rachel Carson College (lot 146), more parking can be found in Lots 124 and 125 across the street in Porter College off of Heller Drive. Jenny’s office is on the 3rd floor of the Rachel Carson College Academic Building room 323. Emily’s office is 320. Sally and Melissa’s office is 324.

The Sociology Department is housed within Rachel Carson College (formerly College Eight), approximately G3 on the campus parking map. Turn left onto High St. (becomes Empire Grade Rd.), turn right at stop light onto Heller Drive, pass West Entrance Kiosk. Turn right at the 3rd stop sign onto Rachel Carson College Rd. Parking is limited in front of Rachel Carson College (lot 146), more parking can be found in Lots 124 and 125 across the street in Porter College off of Heller Drive. Jenny’s office is on the 3rd floor of the Rachel Carson College Academic Building room 323. Emily’s office is 320. Sally and Melissa’s office is 324.
